Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin shortcuts.
Temperature scales differ in both their zero point and their step size, which is why a simple multiplication is not enough. Fahrenheit uses 32 °F as the freezing point of water and 180 steps to boiling; Celsius uses 0 °C and 100 steps; Kelvin is Celsius shifted so that 0 K is absolute zero.
The pages below apply the exact defining relationships — °F = °C × 9/5 + 32 and K = °C + 273.15 — and show the intermediate step so you can check the result by hand. They are handy for oven settings in foreign recipes, weather forecasts while travelling, and lab or classroom work.
